Monica Grant – the event manager for Summer Sailstice on June 22nd has the goal of “Let’s get the whole world sailing!”

Monica began sailing around eight years ago aboard a J24 with her husband, professional captain and sailing instructor, Jay Grant, while the couple lived in Queensland Australia.

With a later start Monica has made up for lost time and has amassed a respectable amount of sea time sailing long the East Coast between Florida and Maine with her husband and her dog aboard their 1983 Tayana 37.
