Sandy Svoboda – a crew member on the all-woman’s team finished eighth in her class aboard J/105 Phantom in Division 1 (Cove Island Course) in the Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race. The only all women crew in this historical annual 259 nautical mile race – mentally and physically challenging due to shifting winds. Within the crew combined they had run the race 61 times over the previous years.
