Christopher Caen, son of the San Francisco Chronicle\u2019s Herb Caen and founder of Tribal Photo, grew up on the San Francisco Bay, racing on every type of boat coming in and out of the St. Francis Yacht Club, where he made friendships and has sailed with legendary sailors and team owners, for America\u2019s cup and other races. Caen is also a journalist, and contributor to the Huffington Post on the subject of America\u2019s Cup, which is where \u201cA Cup of Caen\u201d was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Karen Lile and Christopher Caen met at the St. Francis Yacht Club at a reception for the TRANSPAC to Tahiti race.
