Cup of Caen on Sail Sport Talk

San Franciscans, Lile and Caen co-host ”A Cup of Caen on Sail Sport Talk”, a conversation about the oldest race, America’s Cup and the newest Race, Sail GP. Christopher Caen, son of the San Francisco Chronicle’s Herb Caen and founder of Tribal Photo, grew up on the San Francisco Bay, racing on every type of boat coming in and out of the St. Francis Yacht Club, where he made friendships and has sailed with legendary sailors and team owners, for America’s cup and other races. Caen is also a journalist, and contributor to the Huffington Post on the subject of America’s Cup, which is where “A Cup of Caen” was born.

Karen Lile and Christopher Caen met at the St. Francis Yacht Club at a reception for the TRANSPAC to Tahiti race. Afterwards, Caen came on the Sail Sport Talk show as a guest, and signed the Celebrity Wall at Sports Byline Broadcast Studios, the conversations between Lile and Caen continued off-the-record.

In February 2020, Lile invited Caen to join her on the Sail Sport Talk show as a regular contributor and share the conversation with the 82 million listeners in 168 countries who listen to Sports Byline.
